A managed security service where AI agents run triage and analysts handle the exceptions
VigilBase was founded by Ilyas Esmail, previously chief executive at Forefront and earlier at Bank of America, and operates from Dubai as a managed security services provider aimed at organizations that cannot staff a full security operations centre. The model is an explicit division of labour: agents carry the investigative load, pulling the relevant logs, establishing what happened, applying remediations that fall inside a pre-authorized scope, and then verifying that the change had the intended effect. Analysts take what the agents escalate, which is intended to be the ambiguous and genuinely novel cases rather than routine alert triage.
Telemetry comes from the platforms where most small and mid-sized organizations actually live: Cloudflare, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Okta, Auth0, Fastly, Akamai, Imperva, Zscaler, and custom log sources. Alongside monitoring, the company runs Flarehawk for threat intelligence, Shield as a managed WAF and edge protection service delivered as a Cloudflare Enterprise partner, and full operation of a customer's Cloudflare account and configuration. VigilBase states a median response time under four minutes across more than two hundred customers. A set of free assessment tools covering website checks, email validation, and header inspection is published on the site, and an agent API is available to developers.
