Agentic penetration testing that runs continuously across web, network and AI attack surfaces
Terra Security was founded in 2024 in Tel Aviv by chief executive Shahar Peled and chief technology officer Gal Malachi. In September 2025 it raised a $30M Series A led by Felicis with Dell Technologies Capital, SVCI, SYN Ventures, LAMA Partners and Underscore VC participating, bringing total funding to $38M, and appointed former Google chief information security officer Gerhard Eschelbeck to its board. The company won the 2025 CrowdStrike and AWS Cybersecurity Accelerator, and reports serving Fortune 100 customers with a team of roughly 25 across Israel and the United States.
The platform replaces the periodic pentest engagement with agents that test continuously. Specialised agents cover four surfaces: web and internal applications, where they adapt to authentication flows and application-specific business logic rather than following a generic checklist; external network infrastructure, where they enumerate services and chain misconfigurations; internal segments, where they trace lateral movement and privilege escalation; and AI systems, covering copilots, LLMs, MCP servers and agent behaviour. Agents are given the organisation's own business context and code, which the company argues separates real findings from noise, and results are validated rather than merely flagged. A human-on-the-loop model, supported by a collaboration layer called TORCH, keeps expert oversight on production safety, and every test action is logged for SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA evidence. Terra states that testing cycles measured in four to six weeks compress to two to four hours.
