Prowler provides opensource and managed cloud security solutions designed to automate audits, compliance checks, and threat detection across multi-cloud environments. Its platform, Lighthouse AI, is a collection of Agentic AI tools designed to simplify cloud security and compliance.

Prowler also improves SecOps efficiency by directly integrating into clients’ workflows to perform real-time evaluations of cloud resources, configurations, and permissions. Prowler accomplishes this by using predefined checks aligned with regulatory and industry frameworks, such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001. Supporting AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Microsoft 365, and GitHub repositories, Prowler focuses on identifying risks in infrastructure-as-code deployments and SaaS ecosystems.

To address the operational challenges of distributed cloud architectures, Prowler centralizes visibility and policy enforcement through a single interface. Organizations gain access to over 1,000 prebuilt controls, extensible modules for tailored requirements, and dashboards that track security trends, prioritize issues, and benchmark progress. Prowler raised a $6 million seed round led by Decibel VC in March 2024 and expanded the round to $12.5 million in April 2025 with the support of Decibel V (lead investor), SNR, IrregEx, and unnamed angels.
