Nua’s platform, Shax, is an autonomous AI penetration tester that hunts for vulnerabilities in Web applications the way a human offensive security team would but at machine speed.

Shax scopes a target, probes it for weaknesses, exploits what it finds and produces a working proof of concept for each finding so results are verified exploits rather than scanner alerts.

Nua measures results against Nua-Bench, its own benchmark of five complete Web applications seeded with 100 vulnerabilities across 10 classes, where an agent only scores by exploiting a flaw and reproducing the attack.

The platform is built for security teams that need the depth of a premium penetration test more often than annual engagements allow.

Formerly Trustline, the company rebranded as Nua in April 2025.
