The company raised a $4.3 million seed round in July 2025 from Downing Capital Group. Maro’s platform provides automated data risk identification, PII/PHI detection, data quality scoring, lineage tracking, and governance workflows that allow organizations to align their AI systems with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and emerging AI-specific standards.
