Founded in 2025 by Neal Swaelens, Oleksandr Yaremchuk, and Michael McKenna — the team behind LLM Guard, the widely adopted open-source LLM firewall — Manifold closed an eight-million-dollar seed in March 2026 led by Costanoa Ventures with Cherry Ventures, Rain Capital, and angels including former Uber CSO Joe Sullivan and former Google DeepMind CISO Vijay Bolina. Alongside the core AIDR platform, the company shipped Manifest, a supply-chain intelligence layer that maps how agent components, tools, and external systems interact so enterprises can catch toxic combinations before they reach production.
