Agentic AI Security and Governance for Enterprise Workflows
Lumia Security is an Israeli and New York startup founded in 2024 that focuses on enabling enterprises to safely adopt generative AI by delivering visibility, control and governance over thousands of AI-powered applications. Lumina’s platform is positioned as a Protocol Analysis Engine that inspects prompts and responses, metadata (such as user identity, retention policy, etc.), and correlates that with business context to enforce tailored AI usage policies for employees, developers and custom apps.
Notably, Lumia Security has produced public research findings — such as the “AIKatz” attack on GenAI desktop apps and a deep dive into privacy exposures in Siri/Apple Intelligence — highlighting the emerging risk surface of AI-embedded workflows and reinforcing its market positioning in AI Security guardrails.
Lumia Security raised $18 million in a seed round led by Team8 in December 2025.
