Agentic remediation that investigates findings, applies fixes, and validates closure
Every organisation running a vulnerability programme has the same bottleneck, and it is not detection. Findings accumulate faster than anyone can fix them, and the fixing itself sits with IT teams who did not generate the ticket and cannot verify the business impact of a change. furl builds on that gap rather than adding another source of findings. The platform reads results from the scanners already in place, then a context engine maps what is actually running on the affected hosts, who owns them, and how critical they are, because the correct remediation for a misconfigured server depends on facts no scanner reports.
From that context furl generates a fix specific to the environment, executes it, checks that the finding is genuinely closed, and reverts if the change fails validation. Guardrails are set by the customer as confidence thresholds and approval gates, so routine volume moves without review while anything outside those bounds escalates to a person. The company puts particular weight on endpoint misconfigurations and hardening gaps, the category with no vendor patch to apply and therefore no easy automation path. furl was co-founded by Derek Abdine and Austin DeAngelis with a team drawn from Rapid7, Automox, and Censys, is headquartered in Los Angeles, and raised a $10M seed round led by Ten Eleven Ventures.
