Cybersecurity mesh architecture that maps attack paths across a multi-vendor security stack

Cyber Mesh Security builds on cybersecurity mesh architecture, the composable model in which best-of-breed tools share intelligence and answer to central policy instead of operating as isolated silos. Patrick Hevesi, who introduced that model as a Gartner VP analyst in 2021 and previously worked as a CISO and as a principal security architect at Microsoft, is the company's chief technology officer. George Dart is chief executive, with Mike Inman, Kevin Railsback, and Thomas Wells also on the leadership team. The company is applying the architecture commercially rather than leaving it as a reference pattern.

Raven ForeSight is organized around three functions. It predicts, by assembling telemetry from connected tools into a live graph of entities and relationships and identifying which attack paths are reachable and likely to be used. It prevents, by pushing control changes out across the mesh to the tools that own each enforcement point. And it protects, by monitoring the attack surface continuously and reporting a breach posture on a five-level scale so leadership has a single figure to track. An assistant named Thor sits over the graph to explain why a path is considered dangerous and what would close it. The company states high confidence figures for its predictions; those numbers are its own and are not independently verified here.
