Ad Fraud Prevention and Traffic Quality Scoring for Brands, Platforms and Publishers

ClearTrust, formerly known as Botman and still incorporated in the United States as Botman Inc, sells ad fraud and invalid traffic protection to advertisers, agencies, ad-tech platforms and publishers. Co-founders Deepankar Biswas, chief executive, and Raja TN, chief technology officer, built the business around the idea that paid media budgets should reach real people rather than bots, click farms or spoofed inventory. Operations run from Bengaluru, with a registered US address in Delaware and a presence in South Africa.

Every ad session is passed through more than 150 filters, grouped into checks on IP, domain, user agent, behavioural pattern, viewability, proxies, spam and brand safety, and the results are compressed into a single Traffic Quality Index score on a 0 to 10 scale where a higher number signals greater risk. Deployment is by JavaScript tag, API or tracking link, scoring happens in real time without touching the user experience, and reports roll scores up by campaign, publisher, creative or geography.

Positioning rests on the scoring layer itself: rather than issuing a binary valid or invalid verdict, the index gives buyers a graded, configurable measure that enterprise customers can tune by including or excluding specific filters. The company reports scanning over a billion sessions a day for more than 100 brands, and claims 99.9 percent capture of bad sessions at under 0.01 percent false positives. Coverage spans pre-bid and post-bid checks across web, mobile and CTV, plus a lead-generation product aimed at TCPA and CRM contamination risk.
