CHEQUER Inc. is the company behind QueryPie, a data and infrastructure access governance platform sold to enterprises that need to control and evidence who touched which system. Founded in 2017, it is headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in Seoul and Tokyo, and is a Y Combinator alumnus. Its funding has come from rounds co-led by Salesforce Ventures and Z Venture Capital, with later strategic investment from Shinhan Venture Investment, and its adoption is strongest in South Korea and Japan.

The Access Control Platform sits between users and the systems they need, covering databases, servers and systems, Kubernetes clusters, and internal web applications from one policy layer. It handles authorization, session monitoring, and audit-ready logging, so an approval and the query actually executed are tied to the same identity. Centralizing this removes the pattern of separate credentials and separate audit trails per data store, which is what makes periodic access reviews expensive as an estate grows.

QueryPie has extended the same control plane to AI work. Its AI Platform offers usage-based LLM deployment and an MCP gateway that connects agents to enterprise tools under central policy, visibility, and audit logs, with integrations covering Slack, Salesforce, Snowflake, AWS, and Microsoft 365 among others. Smaller products, Lingo for real-time interpretation and NotePie for document assistance, sit alongside. The platform is built to support audits under J-SOX, ISMS, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
