OT Cyber Risk Quantification for Energy and Critical Infrastructure Operators

Centrii builds operational technology cybersecurity software for the energy sector, serving operators, investors, and boards responsible for wind, solar, hydro, bioenergy, battery storage, hydrogen, geothermal, gas, and data centre assets. Founded in 2022 and previously trading as Cyber Energia, the company was co-founded by Rafael Narezzi and Jonathan Navon. It now runs a team of roughly thirty across engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and commercial roles, with offices in London and Houston.

Delivered as SaaS, the Centrii Portal is organised into modules that each cover one stage of the OT risk lifecycle. Visibility 360 performs automated asset inventory and analysis across ICS environments; Vulnerability Control prioritises findings and attaches remediation guidance; Cyber Threat Guard supplies industrial threat intelligence and detection; Incident Control coordinates investigation and response; and a financial risk and compliance layer maps activity to NERC CIP, NIS2, IEC 62443, and SOCI. An OT SOC adds continuous monitoring.

What distinguishes the approach is the translation of technical OT findings into financial exposure, so a board can see what a weakness means for contracted generation output rather than reading a vulnerability list. Site-specific models are used to separate genuine cyber events from ordinary equipment faults, and supplier scoring extends coverage to asset owners, O&M providers, and equipment manufacturers. A natural-language query interface lets non-specialists interrogate live portfolio data. Company materials cite coverage of more than 400 renewable sites across 14 countries.
