Email Gateway, Cloud Protection, and Outbound DLP for Enterprises

Cellopoint International Corporation is an email security vendor founded in 2003 and headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan. It sells to enterprises and public sector organizations that need inbound threat filtering, outbound data controls, and mail retention from the same product line, and the company reports more than 3,500 customer deployments. Its stated defensive focus is phishing, ransomware delivered by mail, business email compromise, and targeted attacks that arrive through the mailbox rather than the network perimeter.

Inbound protection comes in two forms: a Secure Email Gateway deployed in front of the mail server, and Cellopoint Online Protection, a hosted service. Cellopoint Defender for Microsoft 365 takes a different path, connecting through the Microsoft Graph API so it can inspect mail inside the tenant without changing MX records. Detection combines content analysis with sender behavior and communication pattern modeling, so anomalies in who is writing to whom are treated as signal.

On the outbound side the company offers data loss prevention in both gateway and online forms, checking messages against policy before they leave the organization. A separate group of products covers digital signing, mail archiving, and case management for retention and evidence retrieval. The API-based Microsoft 365 approach lets customers add a second inspection layer on top of native Exchange Online Protection without re-routing mail flow, which shortens deployment and avoids a single point of failure in the mail path.
