The product is sold to businesses, government entities, and consumers, with the bulk of its installed base in Latin America, and the company reports more than 10,000 clients across multiple countries. It targets organizations running Windows fleets that want protection which does not depend on daily signature downloads or continuous background scanning.

The platform works by whitelisting rather than blacklisting: instead of matching files against known malware signatures, it permits only approved executables to run and blocks everything else, with the approval decisions maintained in the cloud. That inversion is the reason the vendor states the product does not require regular updates to stay current against new samples. Around that core it layers blocking of malicious links and infected documents, control over USB storage devices, and hardening of Windows system settings.

Additional functions include AES-192 document encryption and a web console for administering protected machines across an estate. Caimanware sells optional add-ons alongside the software, including a managed SOC service and AI-based security awareness training, which lets smaller organizations without in-house analysts buy monitoring together with the product. The vendor summarizes its stance as bringing Linux-style permission discipline to Windows endpoints, and emphasizes low resource consumption compared with conventional antivirus engines that scan continuously.
