Agentic Endpoint Security for Enterprise AI
Backslash Security enables enterprises to adopt AI agents securely by providing visibility, governance, and control across employee endpoints.
The platform discovers and vets AI agents, coding assistants, IDEs, MCP servers, models, and skills, identifies security risks, and enforces policies to protect sensitive data and enterprise systems without slowing productivity.
The platform provides two major capabilities:
Backslash Scout, an agentless assessment component, inventories the tools and the credentials employees use and flags risks such as excessive permissions and unapproved tools.
Backslash Guardian enforces policy where agents call tools, blocking credential theft, prompt injection and data sent to unapproved destinations.
Every step from prompt to tool call is traced for forensics and compliance evidence.
The platform covers use of AI apps including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Devin, and is built for security teams governing employee AI use.
Backslash was founded in 2022 by CEO Shahar Man and CTO Yossi Pik and raised a $19 million Series A in February 2026.
