Preventive Cloud Security That Blocks Risky Configurations Before Deployment

Founded in April 2024 and headquartered in Tel Aviv, Aryon Security builds a preventive cloud security platform for enterprises running large, complex, often multi-cloud estates. Co-founders Ron Arbel, Ariel Litmanovich and Yair Ladizhensky came out of Israeli military cyber units and national-scale cloud programs, and built the company around the thesis that most cloud exposure traces back to misconfigurations that were preventable at the moment of deployment. The buyers are security, cloud governance and platform teams carrying unresolved posture alerts.

Enforcement sits at the cloud level rather than in code or at runtime. When a resource is created or modified, the platform evaluates that action against organizational policy, blocks the attempt if it violates a rule, and returns guidance on how to redeploy securely. Because the control is decoupled from the engineering stack, it applies equally to Terraform, Pulumi, CLI scripts and browser ClickOps. An AI-driven policy engine generates and continuously adapts rules from the live environment, active risks and emerging threats, alongside a marketplace of prebuilt policies.

The stated differentiator is operating ahead of CSPM: a prevented misconfiguration never becomes a finding, so exposure time is zero and the remediation backlog shrinks rather than grows. No agents or workloads run inside customer environments, and policies act on deployment actions rather than existing resources, which limits production risk. Supporting capabilities include impact assessment before a policy goes live, gradual scoped rollout, auditable waiver and exception workflows, drift tracking, and coverage mapped to CIS, NIST, PCI-DSS and HIPAA.
