AI-native threat management platform consolidating detection, exposure management, and response in one console
Aquila I was founded in Mumbai in 2020 by Hakimuddin Wadlawala and builds its cybersecurity products in India for enterprise and critical infrastructure buyers worldwide. Its argument is one most security leaders will recognise: the average organisation runs detection, exposure assessment, simulation, and compliance reporting as separate tools with separate consoles, and the seams between them are where risk survives. Aquila I's response is a single platform that ingests telemetry from across the estate, enriches it with threat intelligence, and drives orchestration and response from the same data, so an analyst is not reconciling four dashboards to answer one question.
The centrepiece is AISOC, an AI-assisted security operations centre that handles detection and automated incident response. Around it sit continuous threat exposure management, which repeatedly assesses and prioritises vulnerabilities and validates which attack paths are actually exploitable; attack surface monitoring for externally reachable assets; breach and attack simulation to test whether deployed controls fire as intended; digital risk monitoring; email protection; and a governance, risk, and compliance module for reporting. The company had roughly 68 staff as of mid-2025 and, according to public company databases, has been built without outside venture funding.
