AI-Powered Global Compliance Platform for KYC, KYB and AML Verification
AiPrise operates an AI-driven compliance platform for verifying businesses and individuals across borders. Founded in 2022 by Chaitanya Sarda and Rushabh Shah, engineers who previously worked at Google and Meta respectively, the company launched out of Y Combinator's Summer 2022 batch. Its buyers are payment platforms, neobanks, cross-border payment providers, crypto and stablecoin issuers, lending platforms and marketplaces that must onboard customers under many different regulatory regimes at once and cannot staff a separate compliance operation for each jurisdiction.
The platform is organised in three layers. A data layer draws on official company registries and more than 100 integrated sources across 200-plus countries, returning several hundred data points on a business and a smaller set on an individual, covering registration status, ultimate beneficial ownership, document authenticity, sanctions and watchlist matches. Specialised AI agents then review AML alerts, assess merchant and website risk, and parse submitted documents. A case-management workflow engine routes the outcomes, applies conditional logic and preserves the audit trail.
Rather than requiring a compliance team to integrate a dozen verification vendors individually, the product presents a single pre-integrated layer with drag-and-drop workflow rules, an onboarding SDK and continuous monitoring after the initial check. A $12.5M Series A led by Headline, announced in late 2025 and following seed backing that included Y Combinator and Okta Ventures, funds expansion. The company reports more than 150 enterprise customers, naming Bridge, dLocal, Nium, PingPong and Meta among them.
