Korean Security Vendor Unifying Endpoint, Network, Cloud and OT Defense

AhnLab is a South Korean cybersecurity vendor whose product line spans endpoint, network, cloud, and cyber-physical system protection for enterprises, smaller businesses, and critical-infrastructure operators. The company dates to 1995 and the V3 anti-malware engine created by founder Ahn Cheol-Soo, and it now markets a consolidated suite under the AhnLab PLUS banner. An in-house research arm, ASEC, publishes threat advisories, malware analysis, and a threat-actor naming scheme for the wider security community.

The platform is organized into five domain modules — Endpoint PLUS, Network PLUS, Cloud PLUS, CPS PLUS, and Connect PLUS — with the last acting as the correlation layer carrying XDR, SOAR, and threat intelligence. Logs from native and third-party tools land agentlessly in a component called AhnLab Data Hub, where they are normalized, enriched with context, and processed by machine learning that correlates user, device, and entity behavior into a company-wide risk score driving prioritization and orchestrated response.

Layered on top is AI PLUS, an agentic tier built on three decades of accumulated threat data, in which detection, threat-intelligence, SecOps, and orchestration agents divide analyst work among themselves and run alongside human operators without collecting customer data. Positioning rests less on any single control than on breadth plus regional depth: the vendor reports full protection in MITRE ATT&CK Evaluation Round 7, cites Frost & Sullivan recognition in Asia-Pacific endpoint and CPS security, and wraps the products in MDR, managed security, forensics, and consulting services.
