IAM Resilience: Continuous Backup, Recovery and Failover for Okta and Entra ID

Acsense builds an IAM resilience platform that treats identity infrastructure as critical infrastructure needing its own backup, continuity and recovery layer. The company emerged from Israel, founded by former EMC veterans Muli Motola (CEO), Daniel Naftchi (CTO) and Itzik Hanan (COO), with product management in Tel Aviv, operations in Romania, and a sales base in Englewood, New Jersey. It targets enterprises whose workforce and customer access depends on cloud identity providers such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.

The platform continuously replicates an identity tenant into an isolated, air-gapped environment, capturing configuration and object state at roughly ten-minute intervals rather than in scheduled backup windows. Snapshots are integrity-verified and retained immutably, so administrators can compare two points in time, roll back a single changed item, restore a full object along with its linked relationships, or fail over to a hot standby tenant. Multi-tenant management, sandbox seeding and guarded cross-tenant change promotion run on the same captured data.

Rather than treating identity as one more SaaS dataset, the positioning targets the shared-responsibility gap that Okta, Entra ID, Ping and ForgeRock leave to the customer, including service accounts, API keys and other non-human identities that lack recovery controls. Version history is framed as audit evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA and NIST programs. The vendor holds SOC 2 and ISO 27001, reached FedRAMP High through a Knox Systems partnership, and was cited in Gartner's 2025 Hype Cycle for Backup and Data Protection Technologies.
