Veteran-Owned Cyber and Signals Intelligence Services for the U.S. Intelligence Community
Accolade Technologies is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business founded in 2019 to deliver cybersecurity, engineering, and intelligence-analysis services to the United States Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. Operating from Annapolis Junction, Maryland, alongside customer sites at Fort Meade, the firm supports mission programs rather than selling a commercial product, staffing cleared teams across network defense, signals analysis, systems engineering, and acquisition support.
Work is delivered through cleared personnel embedded in government programs, with posted roles requiring an active clearance and polygraph. Cybersecurity engagements cover network security and analysis, information assurance, risk and vulnerability assessment, and network design and architecture. Analysts examine traffic at the packet level using tools such as Wireshark, Zeek, Snort, Elastic and Splunk, while engineers build and integrate systems in C, C++ and Java on Linux and UNIX, following ISO/IEC 15288 lifecycle practice and DoD 5000 acquisition guidance.
Beyond defensive work, the portfolio extends into signals and target analysis, including collection and processing, TECHSIGINT, and detect, track, identify and evaluate missions, plus systems engineering and technical assistance for major systems acquisition and quick-reaction capability efforts. Roughly 46 percent of staff are veterans, and the business holds ISO 9001:2015 registration and a CMMC Level 2 self-assessment, reporting two prime contracts and fourteen funded projects across agencies.
