Agentic AI Platform for Autonomous Security Operations

7AI, founded in 2024 by Cybereason co-founders Lior Div (CEO) and Yonatan StriemAmit (CTO), is a Boston-based startup that positions itself as the leader in agentic security. The company uses “swarming” AI agents to autonomously handle core SOC workflows such as alert triage, threat investigation, and incident response.

The company has raised $36 million in seed funding led by Greylock Partners with participation from Spark Capital and CRV, and is already running in production across dozens of enterprise environments.

In December 2025, 7AI raised a $130 million Series A led by Index Ventures. Participants included new investor (Blackstone Innovations Investments) along with all existing seed investors, including Greylock, CRV, and Spark. Total funding stands at $166 million at a $700 million valuation.

The company said that in just 10 months, its agents have processed more than 2.5 million alerts and completed over 650,000 investigations, cutting investigation times from hours to minutes and eliminating false positives in production by up to 95-99%.

7AI’s platform applies its proprietary Dynamic Reasoning technology so agents can adapt decisions to each organization’s unique security context. The company has published metrics that show hundreds of thousands of alerts processed and tens of thousands of analyst hours saved within the first year of launch, effectively turning repetitive “non-human work” into fully autonomous SOC Automation.
