AI-Powered Detection Engineering and Coverage Automation for SOC Teams
Spectrum Security builds an AI-powered platform that automates detection engineering for enterprise security operations centers. Rather than relying on analysts to manually write and maintain detection rules, the system continuously analyzes an organization's environment and threat activity to surface coverage blind spots. It then generates and deploys production-grade detections, addressing the alert fatigue and detection gaps that overwhelm modern SOC teams as attackers increasingly leverage AI.
The platform is organized around four capabilities. Coverage monitoring maps where detection is missing, while environment intelligence researches those gaps and tailors logic to the organization's specific infrastructure. Detection authoring automatically creates and deploys rules across tools such as SIEMs and data lakes, and a resiliency layer keeps detections effective as environments change over time. Spectrum is designed to operate on top of a customer's existing security stack, including EDRs, with no rip-and-replace required.
Spectrum was founded in 2025 and is headquartered in San Francisco, with Meny Har serving as co-founder and CEO. The company emerged from stealth in April 2026, having raised $19 million in funding led by TechOperators, with participation from WhiteRabbit Ventures, Skinos Ventures, and Alumni Ventures. Its stated focus is helping security teams detect what matters and stay resilient as the volume and speed of threats outpace manual detection processes.
