Autonomous Knowledge Engine for the SOC
Crogl, founded in 2023 in the United States, is an AI-driven company built around an autonomous knowledge engine designed to elevate threat detection and investigation at large scale. The company was founded by CEO Monzy Merza (former VP of Security GTM at Databricks and a senior security leader at Splunk) and Chief Engineer Bradford Lovering (a tech architect whose past roles include Senior Distinguished Engineer, Fellow, Chief Architect, and Advisor at RelationalAI and Splunk).
The platform helps SOC teams resolve over 10,000 daily alerts, freeing hundreds of analyst hours by surfacing evidence-based risks buried in noisy telemetry and adapting its reasoning to each organization’s environment.
Crogl has raised $25 million in a Series A led by Menlo Ventures and $5 million in a seed round led by Tola Capital. Both rounds were announced simultaneously in March 2025.
