calQrisk is an Irish governance, risk, and compliance software company based in Shannon, County Clare, founded in 2006 by Gerard Joyce and Paul O'Brien with support from Enterprise Ireland, angel investors, and industry veterans. It reports more than 150 client organizations spread across financial services (banking, credit unions, asset management, insurance), real estate and infrastructure, manufacturing and industrial, healthcare and life sciences, government and not-for-profit, and technology and professional services firms.

The platform consolidates functions usually scattered across spreadsheets and separate tools into a single register: enterprise risk management, operational risk management, controls management, operational resilience, compliance monitoring, audit management, information security, and third party management. Risks, controls, obligations, and actions are linked to one another, so a failed control surfaces against the risks it was meant to mitigate and reaches an owner, instead of sitting in a file until the next scheduled review.

Task automation, real-time monitoring, and reporting serve the board pack and the regulator alongside the day-to-day team view, with a shared workspace for risk, compliance, and audit staff who otherwise duplicate each other's evidence gathering. A separate product, GreenFeet, applies the same structure to sustainability reporting across ESG, climate, and emissions tracking. The company was selected for the UK Financial Conduct Authority's Supercharged Sandbox programme.
