Silentel Secure Mobile Communication and QSign Electronic Signatures

Ardaco is a Slovak information and communication security company established in 2001 and headquartered in Bratislava. It develops two product lines of its own: Silentel, a platform for secure mobile voice, messaging, and file exchange, and QSign, a set of qualified electronic signature and secure document handling products. Its customers are government institutions, defence organisations, and enterprises, and the company reports users across more than 50 countries.

Silentel protects calls, messages, chats, documents, photos, and arbitrary files against interception and unauthorised use, with clients for iOS, Android, and Windows. Ardaco was among the first vendors worldwide to offer an IP-based secure voice, messaging, and data system for mobile communication built to NATO and US security requirements, and the platform is fully scalable, so deployments can grow from small secure groups to national rollouts. QSign added remote signing on Android and iOS with QSign Mobile in 2023.

Certification history is the company's principal credential. Silentel was certified by the Slovak national security authority in 2006, approved for military use by the Ministry of Defence in 2009, listed in the NATO Information Assurance Products Catalogue in 2010, and certified by the Czech national security authority in 2014, with approvals extending up to NATO CONFIDENTIAL. Ardaco holds ISO 9001:2015 and became a qualified trust service provider under eIDAS in 2021. It also developed the PDMark electronic paper protection technology.
