AI-Native Managed Detection and Response Service

AirMDR provides AI-driven Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services aimed at reducing the time required for threat identification, investigation, and remediation. Its platform uses generative AI “virtual analysts” to automate an estimated 80-90% of routine SOC tasks traditionally handled by human analysts, including alert triage, case construction, escalation workflows, and initial investigation.

The service is designed around aggressive operational targets: sub-one-minute threat identification, ten-minute triage, and one-hour incident resolution. AirMDR integrates with more than 240 security and IT tools and delivers custom deployments within two-to-fourweek windows, maintaining SOC 2 certification for secure processing of sensitive data.

The company positions its offering to address scalability gaps in mid-market security operations by combining continuous AI monitoring with optional human oversight for approvals and exceptions. Its model focuses on lowering operational overhead while maintaining enterprise-grade detection and response capabilities.

AirMDR has raised $15.5 million thus far from a $10.5 million seed round (led by Race Capital with full participation from AirMDR’s earlier backers Foundation Capital and Storm Ventures) in July. AirMDR previously raised $5 million in seed capital in June 2024.
