Aiceberg was founded in 2023 with a clear mission: enable enterprises and public sector organizations to deploy generative and agentic AI safely, transparently and compliantly. The company raised a $10 million seed round in March 2025 (led by SYN Ventures and Sprout & Oak) to launch its AI Trust Platform, which acts as an AI firewall/gateway for AI traffic. The product is positioned specifically for the guardrail space: Aiceberg’s platform monitors AI inputs and outputs, detects adversarial behavior (jailbreaks, prompt injection, unsanctioned model use), enforces policies (for privacy, PII/PHI/PCI, compliance with GDPR/HIPAA/EU AI Act) and provides observability into user intent and model interactions.

It emphasizes using non-generative models for risk detection (rather than relying on LLMs to protect LLMs), aiming for explainability and auditability.
