Acuvity, founded in 2023 and headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA, is a seed-stage vendor specializing in governance and runtime enforcement for generative AI ecosystems. Its flagship platform, called RYNO, offers full-spectrum visibility across users, applications, agents and MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers; it includes capabilities such as shadow AI discovery, real-time prompt/response inspection, an AI firewall, and data-flow protection for text, code and images.

The company’s early momentum included a $9 million seed round in September 2024 led by Foundation Capital. Acuvity was acquired by Proofpoint for an undisclosed sum in February 2026.
